Title: Re: EPA removes vapor-capture rubber boot from pum Post by Savage_Rob on 05/13/12 at 19:51:43 We have them at some places and not others and they can be a pain. On some pumps you have to pull that rubber sleeve back or the pump won't function. On others it doesn't matter. |

Title: Re: EPA removes vapor-capture rubber boot from pum Post by WD on 05/14/12 at 18:01:19 It isn't just bikes. Hard to fuel real American vehicles (V-8s from the leaded gas era), minivans (at least Aerostars), classics (flathead era), gas cans... 'Bout time. Why a gas nozzle needs a foreskin... :-? |
Title: Re: EPA removes vapor-capture rubber boot from pum Post by drharveys on 05/15/12 at 13:50:04 This thing really works: http://www.mccuff.com/ It pushes back the rubber thing and you don't get gas all over your tank. And the zipper case keeps the gas smell inside, and I put my last receipt in it so no one can accuse me of a drive-off. |

I woulda thot a good utility knife would have handled it in short order. We dont have those here, & Im glad. I congratulate the EPA, This may well be the first time the goobs ever decided to stop doing anything that cost $$, created inconvenience & was wasteful. |
