Should you let threadlocker set up for a while or just apply it and thread the bolt in? Thanks.

You can put it on the threads & screw it together. If its Red,, dont. Get Blue.

JOG,,, I bet that made sense when you wrote it... :-?...

PS... screw together while wet... When it drys, it's too late...

Once set up/dried, the red requires heat or a big cheater pipe to break loose. The blue doesn't require heat to break loose. I recommend using blue on smaller bolts (6mm,1/4 or smaller)

Uh, yea,, as a matter of fact, it did,, now, not so much.

I dont recommend the red locktite, get the blue stuff, Use the red & youll need a torch to get it loose.

I sometimes tighten the nut on a bolt, then put one drop on the threads where the bolt comes thru the nut, Of course, thats not gonna work on a bolt screwed into something, Just a drop or 2 is all ya need,
