What has you thinking youve warped the case?

Did you drop it?

Was it real hot & hit some water in one spot?

Are you Suuuure it warped? Is it leaking? Cracked?

i have a problem with it going from 2nd to 3rd 4th and 5th gears.... it hangs up and wont go unless i hit the shifter  at the shifter cover, so i know i have a bind somewhere.... i have checked run out on the cam and the drive shaft and driven shaft and it is good... so somehow it is binding.... my shifter forks seem to be fine it worked great before my engine lost oil pressure but i didnt have 5th gear so i decided to fix it... i have had the engine apart 8 times trying to fix it, 5 motorcycle mechanics have looked at it.... we are all stumped as to what is wrong.... so it has to a warped case.... :-/ i need my bike back up and running soon... gas is killing me and i have to get to college everyday... it cost $25 per day in gas... where as my bike was $7 per day... i have no job so my parents are fed up with the extra gas expenses..

About the only shifting Problems I recall seeing here, have been linkage related...

If it ain't that,.. it's very unusual...

Where is it leakin, bud? Peg bolts tite?

Does it shift okay, engine off?

If you lost oil pressure,, thats nearly always a big problem,

You say "Had it apart, looked at by mechanics",, can you give more detail?

Engine case on a warmed up engine should be hotter than cr@p!...

Ever touch a hot car engine?...
Well. they are water cooled... this one is made to run hotter...

Hard to imagine a case warping while bolted together... engine would seize first... heat comes from the inside...

I could see it, if you had it off and torched it for a while... :-?...

i have mild drips from the two case halves  occasionally... it shifts great when its not running with the occasional shift bounce where it doesnt shift and the shifter has play.... i checked the shifter linkage going in and it isnt bent... my buddy has looked it over and he came up with the same conclusions i came up with.... his friends are suzuki certified and they say the same... i found out im not the only one work on it, the first owner abused it and lost 5th on the highway at 100mph, he said it started rattling and the he heard and felt a clank... the back tire locked up and since then 5th has been a no show... he busted the timing chain and the tensioner at 2800 miles...

well some serious sh!t has happened to her.
there's going to be weird sh!t going on till it's ironed out.

shifter issues usually are fixed with going over what's under the shifter cover.  I don't remember where I've seen it, but someone had a similar issue.

search for words that you've already used.
I'll try when I have time, but it'll be hit or miss and a lot of miss.

hell it could've even been another forum.
