Title: Saddlebags Touching The Shocks
Post by Chris Tipton on 05/01/12 at 12:56:03

I just purchasing 14" wide saddlebags for my 1998 Suzuki Savage and the front of the saddlesbags are touching the shocks.   Is that going to be a problem or does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix that so they don't?  Thanks in advance all!  :)

will shocks constantly rubbing on your bags be a problem?
not to the shocks   ;D

move the signals if you need more room.

Almost all our saddle bags hit our shocks, it's considered normal.

Thanks for the suggestion and replies.   I think I'll just put a felt patch on there and see how that holds up.  If I tried to move the turn signal lights, I'd somehow mess it up!  LOL!  If they rub on the felt patch and I check it and replace it as needed, I should be OK...I hope!  :)

I'd say thats better than touching the tires.
