Any suggestions would be appreciated. I pulled the tank and changed the spark plug, put it all back together, turns over good but wouldn't start. I thought that maybe I replaced the plug with the wrong one so I pulled it apart and put the old one back in and still the same no start. I'm getting gas to the carb but it sounds like no spark. What am I missing?

Recheck all connections up under the tank. Those things can get knocked loose when putting the tank back on.
Pull tank, and leave it off. Reseat all connections, see if it will start. You should have enough gas in the bowl to run it for a bit.
Still no start, check for spark.

Yep, runs quite a while on the bowl.,

& now its time to charge the battery.,.

I put it on the trickle charger last night and it was all charged up this morning. Just for the heck of it I tried it before work but still no start.

No. I had it running and took it work a couple times this year. Ran great. I just figured after 20,000 miles it could prolly use a new spark plug. I should have left it alone.

use the spare plug and check that you got spark.

petcock to prime.

check your air filter.

a shot of ether/starting fluid/splash of gas should get you going, at least a rev or two.

Okay I got it fixed. I found a small plug that got pulled that I didn't know was pulled. Plugged it in and it fired right up.
