Title: How to check oil pressure ? Post by Bruno666 on 04/23/12 at 12:31:36 I am a little unsure about the motor makes enough oil pressure. I made a transparent inspection cover to the cylinder head, and it does not look like there is enough oil flowing up when it idles. Is this normal ? What should oil pressure be ? I can see why some people here have connected a pressure gauge, but I can not sure how. As seen in the picture is apparently not possible to unscrew the plug out and get into the oil channel. What have I missed? |

Title: Re: How to check oil pressure ? Post by Bruno666 on 04/23/12 at 14:25:11 Just took off the front valve adjuster cover and used it as a template to create a cover of plexiglass. Put an approximately 6 mm thick gasket under in order to make room for the rockerarms. I took no picture when I had it on, but can do it if you would like to see it. |
