Looks good! Did you do the BCB work on it?

Up until the pic from the rear, I thought you had a nasty case of gas eating through the paint on the tank, then I realized it was just the clouds shining off there instead  8-)

Yes Sir, it's BCB kit. I did the work myself. Pretty easy except for the wiring. I blew one fuse while figuring it out :o What do y'all think about the shortened belt guard? Next time I take the rear wheel off. I'm going to do a little more cutting on it.

Shortened guard looks good, but since you don't have the ability for a passenger anymore, why don't you just take the guard off? Really, the likelyhood of someone getting hurt from not having a belt guard is mostly a passenger, the driver's legs are so far forward most of the time that it shouldn't be an issue.

They are a little small, not sure if I like them yet. Maltese mirror link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/120725722231

Really digging the rear fender struts. I've been wanting to do those with my FLH rear fender, let the whole thing move like a Drifter. Tired of dragging the fender tip on speed bumps, so I raised my bike via 800 Intruder rear shocks. Would still like to make the fender move.

Very nice job on that one.

Their fender kit looks more and more pleasing as I see it. Very nice being all painted up too.

Wonder if they split that apart from the seat at all. Their website doesn't list it separately.

pretty darn good job, what color blue is that? I just sent my tins off to be painted and I am going with a GM indigo blue and white. Yours look amazing. Also, just for comparison, and if you dont mind me asking, what did the paint job cost ya?

Tank & front fender is OEM, rear fender is rattle can. Dupli-Color Toyota Stellar Blue with a rattle can clear coat. Paint job on my bike was in too good of shape to paint, so I just tried to match the rear fender. It turned out better than I thought. Slick as a eel turd.

I would have sworn the rear fender was painted OEM as well!  8-)

I finally had time to put a couple of coats of Turtle Wax on it today. Rear fender is slick and shining. Thanks for all the comments!

Really nice job you did with the kit. Tried the seat out on any long runs yet?

If you don't mind me asking...how comfortable is that seat when compared to stock?

It is a very nice seat but, it's still a springer seat. I'm going to bend a pan so I can slide the seat back a little. Sliding the seat back to fit my riding posture would help a lot. Instead of me forming to where the seat has to be.  I generally on sit in the seat no more than 30 minutes at the time. I basically just ride the bike to work and short stress relieving full throttle rides. Hope this helps. -

My painter just sent some pics before it ships but my blue actually looks pretty close to yours.

Sweet paint job Splash. I thought about putting stars on my tank too but, I ran across the Death Trap emblems. Since that is what my wife calls my bike, I figured it was fitting.

Still true... I asked them why and they said it was a liability to sell them apart. I guess someone used their parts and almost crashed when his tire hit a part that wasn't a piece of the BCB parts and he almost lost it.

FWIW - I'd be willing to split a part of the kit if anyone wanted to go halves... I want the fender/struts and will give you dibs on the seat, license plate bracket, etc.

Oh - They will sell you JUST the fender itself http://bluecollarbobbers.com/web/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=178&category_id=6&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=24

Buy that and fabricate up the struts... That may be the way I end up going instead.
