To me "choppers" are the long rake necks, but technically other garage bikes are way more chopped up than "choppers"... so if you want to stick with the "American Chopper" way of thinking then they aren't choppers at all since they're custom fabricated that way and not chopped but still have a long rake.. take a stock frame, chop it up, weld it back up with new mods and that should really be a chopper... because it's actually chopped up and not fabricated to be a long necked "chopper"... ya know? :D |
Title: Re: what is a chopper Post by Serowbot on 03/31/12 at 09:55:55 I call a hardtail/raked bike a "chopper"... Keep the suspension and don't stretch the forks, and it's a bobber... A "brat" bike is when you attempt either, but it comes out a little dorky.... :-?... |
