Hello :)

I was have the problem of getting to 3/4 throttle and then if I gave it more.. it would act like i was not. It would act normally until then, but then it would pretend like I wasnt giving it any more throttle. I tore the carb apart and found that the large cylinder (dont know what its called :p ) was getting stuck.. it has a wear spot on it where it was getting stuck. I lubed it with marvel mystery oil and bam! fixed. I worry that it is going to happen again though. Has anyone had this problem? and is there anything I can do short of replacing that cylinder or the whole carb?

That's the needle slide... or throttle slide,.. or just slide,.. or whatever...
They do get a gummy build-up that makes them sticky, more often from sitting...
...but,.. any wear is from the shmutz rubbing and not the actual slide...
Just clean it off, lube it and you're good to go...
You don't have to replace anything... ;)...

Regular riding is the best medicine,.. and a teaspoon of Marvel's in the tank once in a while don't hurt...
