Title: Pirelli MT66 Route tires

If you have never tried these tires you owe it to your self to try them Great handling and improves the ride by about 30%.Same tire pressure as what what suzuki calls for.

I ordered these about a month ago. My current dunlops are dry rotted, plenty of tread left but I wanted new tires.  I can wait to have them installed.  BTW motosport.com had the MT66 front and rear tire sets for $150 free shipping.  Ordered arrived in three days.

Tried them, didn't like them, went back to Metzlers.   For me, the MT66 just didn't hold the road as well.

Really like my MT66's but then again I didn't want to spend the money on the Metz. The Pirelli's (for me anyway) are way nicer than the stock IRC's...but just about anything would be I guess... ;D

Some one wrote in the last week or so they had to run 40 pounds of air in the front and back with there Metz tires to get their bike to handle.

I run 40 pounds on my Metzlers.  It is what they recommend for the LS650.  Handles well at that pressure and excellent tire life.

What ever works for you,I always use the pressure the Motorcycle company says and that works for me.Do you use max tire pressure in your cars too.

40 psi is what Metzler recommends for the 880. ( It has to do with the sidewalls.)  I have over 13 K on my set of 880s, have always run 40 psi, and they look like they just came off the rack.  Considering the price per mile, they are a bargain.

I really don't care what they cost ( going 60 miles an hour with nothing but air between me and the pavement is no time to cut corners) I think MT66s are the best street tires I've ever used. Although I''ve never owned any Metz my son has a set on his 1500 Intruder, they seem to ride and handle OK but no better than my MT66s.

I have the Pirelli 66 route on both my 1500 intruder and S40 and the ride and handling improved on on both of them at the Suzuki recommend air pressure.
