We have a 1991 Savage fitted with Nisin front brake caliper. The piston does not retract after brake pressure releases. I can see bits of rubber around the piston. Need new seal methinks. I can only get part number for a 1996 bike. Does anyone know if the calipers changed over the years?

Was the Savage even made in 1991? Help Justin, Serow, Versy, anybody.

They were made, just not distributed in US.
Or it could be a '89

As far as caliper seals go... don't think they're different.
check p/n's on someplace like suzukiboulevard dot com
