you don't want the connectors blocking the snorkel.

Unless you leave the plastic cover off the side and just screw the tin back on.

Thanks for the info guys think i will leave the cap off and put only the tin on.

I left the side cover in place and yanked the snorkel for better airflow, but then my rectifier is still in its original spot too.

i de snorkeled also w/ a kn drop in..
was reading a snowmobile site they were talkin adout a "tuned"
airbox..something to do with harmonics and pulses..interesting read but dont think the suzi engineers did that much research and testing for our lil scoot..

Yup, K&N drop-in here too.  I agree.  I doubt they "tuned" our thumpers with that snorkel.  I know I get better airflow now and it's still somewhat less likely to get junk sucked into it.
