How many sausage links of big fat juicy hurley did you guys bag on your trip?

We know a Kawachunkie 900 can pass one in the turns with a little finesse on the part of the rider, something that is completely simple and easy to do on a nimble Savage.

Heck, even a Sportster can bag a hurley, we've had both Lancer and MMRanch prove that to us.

Nice winter ride, good pics too.

I swear hurley riders are a different breed. We saw a guy get pulled over on a orange and black sportster. Mikey asked him how bad he got him for. The dude starts ranting and going on saying I hate a holes and this country.

That was my first trip up there and mikey hard a hard time staying with me. But in his defense I rode a yzf 600 r before the savage.

Me, I like granny putt'n any of the roads up there on the NC side.   Fontana Dam road is always a favorite, as are Hwy 80 and the Cherohala Skyway.  The Tennessee roads are more problematical as the Tennessee Highway Patrol lacks all sense of humor about things like swack'n.

Only thing more fun than swack'n a hurley is swack'n a Honda flat six or swack'n a poorly ridden Ducati (the shocked look on the Duck rider's face is precious, believe me).  Them Goldwingers can be tough as a Wing actually handles a lot better than you think it would.

None of us have ever swacked a 600cc sports bike -- too too lively and fast fer us to get a handle around it.   We've all been swacked by them, but never have been able to return the favor.

Passing a sixteen wheeler up there in the double yellows offers some real challenge, one that generally involves a little patience compared to most of the swack jobs up there ...
