Just put a new Dyna Muffler on I'm still getting some backfire though there's no leaks. Atleast the cricket is history.

I'm going to adjust the screw for the fuel mixture but first I cleaned out my air filter with a vac after 12k miles. looks ok but I'm debating if I should replace it since I'm going to mess with the air/fuel mixture anyways.

Any suggestions from the vets and pros in here? What's a good replacement if any?

Ocean, did you put a muffler reducer on your pipe?

If you're not going to re-jet your carb, then the stock filter is fine.

No reducer, just the Dyna muffler. Is till get backfire so I assume I need to make some adjustments on the carb?
