Can the S40 stator handle the added load of 2 55w driving lights or somthing simular? Is there an aux plug in the headlight bucket?

There's no aux plug and I'm doubtful it could handle two additional 55w draws. In fact, that's why I want to convert my existing headlight to HID so it'll only draw 35w but produce more light.

Didn't mean 2 55w. Too much. Was thinking adding 2 35w like my Volusia. In reality they are too big and would look out of place. Will look for some kind of smaller bullet type light. I want a visible bike for my wife to be seen.

If you want to increase visability... get a day-glo hummer with a ma deuce on top. ;D

Or get her a flesh tone skin tight riding suit and put a light on her. 8-)

aside from that, HID lights will definitely get their attention and she'll be able to see 3x further with less wattage.
