I have my side cover off to replace the cam chain tensioner and the wire that goes into the lower case is melted through from being to close to the exhaust I guess. I can see bare wire. The wire is a single blue and goes up to a single plug under tank. Does anyone know what this is called so I know what to call when getting a new one. Thanks

I think that is the clutch safety switch.....
