Title: Drag Pipe Support Post by NicholasTanguma on 01/27/12 at 19:53:03 Fellow thumperheads, do you think there's enough support for this custom-built drag pipe without the stock exhaust bracket, or should I definitely use the stock bracket to alleviate any chances of stress cracks somewhere down the road? |
Title: Re: Drag Pipe Support Post by verslagen1 on 01/27/12 at 20:07:39 w/o the bracket, only thing holding it on is the header clamp. |

Title: Re: Drag Pipe Support Post by MMRanch on 02/02/12 at 20:00:37 you can engineer your own bracket if you doin't like the factory one ! But I'd put something there ! |
Title: Re: Drag Pipe Support Post by MotoBuddha on 02/03/12 at 05:07:36 There's a lot of the stock bracket that can be cut away — like the whole left side and cross piece — if you don't have California smog equipment. You could even Swiss cheese it to make it look like a cool custom part. |
