Title: Front left turn signal running light doesn't work
Post by built2last66 on 01/12/12 at 06:44:18

My front left turn signal running light doesn't work with the bike is running, it does work when the signal is set to turn left or with the hazards on. Looking through the Clymers, electrics are all gibberish to me... is there any easy way to find the problem?

Thanks

SImple solutions are usually the best, could be the bulb is burned out.  I think there are two filaments in those bulbs, one for turn and one for running.

Great, I have 2 extra bulbs laying here, guess I'll swap em out real fast and hopefully I don't have to get technical with it :D

I had exactly the same issue when I bought my bike and a new bulb fixed it for me.

How many built2last66's does it take to change a light bulb? ;D
(sorry, I couldn't resist)

That running filament threw me for a loop there... I was looking in the Clymers manual plotting how to rewire the bike.. searching the basement for my dads soldering kit...
