Title: Any experience with Progressive 440s on Savage?
Post by gerald.hughes on 01/07/12 at 08:59:13

I am thinking of getting a pair of Progressive 440s  for an 800 Intruder in 11 " size, and was wondering if anyone on this site has had experience using these shocks on the Savage?

Thanks

I got a set and love 'em

the 412's are a step above stock
and the 440's are a step above the 412's

On my trek to work, 25 mile superslab blitz, when I had the stock shocks I had a name for each major bump and one was a jump.  I've forgotten them all but 2, a double head snap that used to require a clenched jaw to keep head on shoulders, now I can sit thru and remember the good ol' days.  The other is a kick in the a$$, I still stand and salute that one.

Verslagen,

Since Progressive does not make a shock for the Savage (S40), which bike and model did you get the shock for?
