Title: clutch arm removal
Post by wombat on 12/07/11 at 19:12:48

I'd like to paint the cases without taking them off the engine. The only problem is that the clutch arm (lever) which sticks out of the right case is in the way. How do I remove it without taking the case off?

You have to remove the engine cover. The lever is held on with a cotter pin inside the cover.

paint jobs are only ever as good as their prep work.

Drop the oil, pull the covers, de-grease them real good, and do it right the first time.
