I hear you, used to live in Kitchener for 9 long cold years.  I feel for you as far as the no riding goes.  Now in Southern California and not looking back.

Wow, I drained the oil out of mine today, for the long cold winter in my garage. I'll be doing patch repairs to the bottom of motor.

I guess it's a tough day for white '07s, given that I shoveled my driveway a few minutes ago. On the other hand, I can reasonably expect intermittant riding days throughout the winter. I grew up not so far from you, in Niagara County (Middleport), so I do sincerely feel your pain. I REALLY don't miss those winters, 'though decent MacIntosh apples are hard to find around here...

Battery tenders plugged in -- waiting for the occasional warmish day.  Well, at least I'll be going to SoCal in January for my mother-in-law's birthday party.  It's the big 92 this year!

And, as long as she lives, I will be going to SoCal in January.  Mrs Doc has made it clear that she enjoys her mom's birthday parties and does not want to miss the last one!   ;D

The season just seems so short north of the 49th.For the last 6 years the wife and i have logged 24,000km per season between March and November.I will be impressed with her and the bike if she can log 24,000km from March 2012 to November 2012 on her 2010 S40.

"The season just seems so short north of the 49th."

Ah well, arteacher lives on the 43rd, and I'm 60 miles west and 20 miles north of him, so it could be worse for us....it's still a long long time to the 2012 riding season though...sigh.

...no snow here yet unlike this time last year,
but same here,  yesterday I rode them both
to de-rust the front disk (not been riding much
lateley cause of work and frost), lubed the chain,
drained the bowl, cleaned them good, checked
the tire pressure and charge and covered them
up with drapes in my garage till next year,  sniff.

:'(

This year im asking santa to help me find a new/used
savage for next year, hey, I've been good... enough.
Happy holidays everyone!

60 and sunny here in Tucson.  Went for a short 60 mile ride this morning.  Have to spend the rest of the day getting ready for family.  Probably won't get to ride tomorrow, but the 26, I am off for a day long ride.  Eat your hearts out Easterners.

Have I been sufficiently obnoxious?

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all.  For the rest of you, Happy Festivus.

I must have been a very naughty gal. Seems our
riding season ended awhile back.. :( Oh their have
been a couple days here and there, just too tired after
working nights to ride.. Now that I am getting more rest,
weather is icky.. Seems it is either freezing temps or else
raining and cold as well. Holding out hope it changes and allows
me one more ride before the year ends..
Oh then again, I can be ready for the New Year's ride.. :)
Merry Christmas everyone.. xoxoxoxox :) kim
