The dry is mainly for connections, and the lubricated is for sliding controls like potentiometers, and also switches. There are also contact enhancers which clean and coat the contacts to prevent oxidization. Any electronics parts store will have all three. |

Title: Re: electrical contact cleaner Post by thumperclone on 11/29/11 at 15:21:18 in the trade we called it goose grease. its just a carosion inhibitor great on battery term also get some white vinegar 5% outa the kitchen, soak your corroded copper in it may take a couple of apps even over night but it works.... dry, then coat with "no lox" goose grease |
