Most of the people who do "performance" drawing or painting practice first- a lot. Remember that guy who would paint a huge picture of John Lennon in about 10 minutes? He did the same painting for many months at home before he ever did it in front of the public.

Thats some good work. Maybe he otta team up with the gal from America's Got Talent who did the fingernails in the sand stuff. INteresting concept, using salt on black like that.
I could practice for years & never make a decent stick figure.. He has talent.

I'm bettin' he lived in Utah and was REALLY bored as a kid. Whatever the case, that is some amazing talent.

His mother made him clean his plate as a kid, so he sat at the table forever and started playing with the salt instead of eating.  That would be my guess haha.  But that is pretty dang amazing.  I saw one a while back that painted with ketchup, mustard, bbq sauce, etc.  It was cool too.
