Title: Jets - Genuine or OEM equivalent - Does it matter?
Post by AlphaBarney on 11/06/11 at 03:48:52

This might seem like a really dumb question, but when I was looking at jets from "Jets R Us" they list both types.  Is one type better than the other?  Any advise on them as a vendor?  I read about them in another thread, so I was gonna give em a shot.  Anyone have a better option/experience?

This will be my very first carb altering experience so any advice is greatly  appreciated.  I've already read everything in the tech section, so here goes nuthin'.

A jet is a jet is a jet,,as long as the hole in the middle is right for your application, its all good.

From what I've been told, the the official jets are better than the oem... I forgot why, but I'm sure someone will be along to sort it out..

At first I'd be inclined to agree with JoG, but to me carbs are all black magic so who knows.

LANCER is the carb king here, maybe he can weigh in and let you know.
