Title: Remember,... remember...
Post by Serowbot on 11/05/11 at 10:41:49

"Remember, remember, the 5th of November…
The gun powder treason and plot.
I know of no reason why the gun powder treason
Should ever be forgot."

It's bonfire night...  Light'em if you got'em...

Savages are like ideas... and ideas are bullet proof.

In that spirit today is National Leave Your Bank Day.

I've been with a local credit union ever since I had my own accounts, and have been happy.

This past month alone over 650,000 people have joined credit unions.

In ALL of 2010 only about 600,000 joined credit unions.

Take that, mobsters, err, I mean banksters.

Yeah, I just joined one a couple months ago, and am slowly shifting all my business there. What really impressed me is that they actually cared whether the customer was happy, instead of just doing the bare minimum. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Oh, and that's an awesome movie!

I'd love to partake in the whole Occupy Wall St movement, and quit banks and all that nuts, but I'm too locked in.. they do have my full support though and once I can I will drop my bank and look for another method of "banking".. I was an occasional Fox viewer (more conservative news) but after seeing how they've pissed all over their own viewers I have gone completely rogue.. I'm not even aligning myself with the "independent" political scene... something is terribly wrong with this country... V for president..

I only had a credit card one time back in the late 1960s,We got behind a little on it so I tore it up,Then I though a checking card was ok, I've used that for the last five years, but I just heard lately they really charge a lot for that.I know when I buy a carton on cigarettes they knock off 2 bucks if you pay cash. lately I went back to paying cash.I don't know how much they were charging for the check card,But have been told they had rather have a check.

That is quite a stretch calling the crap that Rupert Murdoch pumps out 'News". The last news in this country was from Chet Huntley and David Brinkley. Fox is just pablum for the uneducated, and a lobbyist for the ultra rich 2%.
It is way past time for a change in direction people. Right now my congress cares about as much for me as the local crack dealer >:(

It's good that we agree but I hope we have the sames ideals that would fall in line... a days pay for a days work... small government... separation of government and profit..

If you go to McDonalds and pay for a burger, and they mess it up, don't you go demand your money back or a new burger? You are the paying customer, except our government takes our money and then treats us like we work for them...
