Title: Hodaka Ace 100 Post by RidgeRunner13 on 11/03/11 at 20:45:58 This one was cafed & running at the Texas Mile. Ran mid-70s against a 12 mph headwind. The owner, Eric, has 13 & 4 that run. This was his first time at the mile. 8-) http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n94/Pappygt13/Texas%20Mile%2010-22-2011/TexasMile10-22-11280.jpg |

Title: Re: Hodaka Ace 100 Post by SuperSavage on 11/03/11 at 23:09:49 My 1st real bike was Rupp Roadster with an 8HP bolted to it. That thing was awesomely powerful and torque.I loved the torque converter and fan belt connected to a jack drive and burly chain final drive, I never had a problem with the bike, except I went through a few 4- 6 hp's and settle on the 8. I've been looking for one to restore for my nephew and the prices are rediculous! Maybe a go kart designed for off road. The Hodaka is really nice, I love it when someone does more with less . I had a bultaco, maico, husquavarna (sp)?? Try and find parts for those back in the day!!!! Kawi, honda, Yammis, but I miss the rupp the most..LOL |
