Title: Want Visibility at Night? DIY!!
Post by Morgii on 10/27/11 at 19:49:02

Hey guys & gals,

I was just looking around on the web and this page came up... has anybody done this? Seems pretty straightforward if you can follow directions and have some electronic know how.

Might be a little tricky to do since it's on the cuffs, but if you can do it on a bicycle why not a motorcycle?

Cheers,

Ian

LEDs offer lots of potential applications. You could cover the entire jacket or a vest. Running lights, brake lights, signals. You could hook up a connector to the bike's wiring.

EL wire is becoming the favorite of cyclist. It's easier to shape and form, but doesn't quite have the brightness of LED but you can illuminate a larger area visible from more angles.
