Ok guys ,do you remember my nephew got busted for downloading a movie (The hurt locker) he got a court order to pay $3000 within 10 days ,after that it goes up another thousand and will keep going up to $250,000 after that it's jail time, 6 months. Luckely he just inherited 3 grand from a family member so he was able to pay it today.
So guys before you go downloading or copying movies remember you can get caught ,and that fine is down right nasty.
just thought I would pop back back in to let you know.

What was he using to download with, bit torrent? Which site did he get the torrent file from? Also, I believe that if you own the DVD your're allowed to copy it for yer own viewing purposes...

I have no idea what hardwear he used.He was copying a rented movie.

I got nasty copyright infringement letters in the past and always go out of it. Make to use a torrent client that allows for IP filtering and get the blocked IP lists, from bluetack or whatever.
