S:250 STARTTLS -Tells the server you want to authenticate with it,
1      AUTH LOGIN (start the authentication process)
The server should have returned 334 VXNlcm5hbWU6; this is an encoded string asking you for your username, paste the username you created earlier.
Now you should have received a message telling you that you successfully authenticated. If it failed your user/pass may have been wrong or your mailserver is broken.

Try clearing your cookies and cached temp files, and restarting your browser (to get a 'fresh' read). If that doesn't work try a different browser. Not all browsers are alike. If you are using IE8 or 9 turn on compatibility viewer. Microsoft is now using their own flavor of HyperText Markup Language, 'MSHTML' and it is not compatible with many pages already in service on the web. Microsoft, true to their past, expects the rest of the world to convert to their flavor of HTML.
Good Luck with that!!!

When I checked the thread I was posting to, my post was there & I'm glad because with my typing skills it takes me a while to type out my posts. 8-)

With all we oddities happening lately, I thought it would be a good idea to re-post our "backup" forum for those new folks who may not know about it.  If this site crashes for some reason, we have an alternate place to go....  http://suzukisavage.forumotion.net/  (I checked and its still up and running)

And whenever you get that error message, the magic post counter fails to register your post, even though your post winds up getting posted. Let's see, I was at 63 (s/b about 70) when I typed this.

SL, I sent a PM, but it said I didn't. Next day I got a reply that didn't make my email mailbox, but came into Suzuki Savage.
