Title: Ryca's catseye taillight on stock Savage

Anyone put one on and if so got any pics?  There's a couple of old style cats eyes on European bikes in the gallery but they don't appear to be LED and have a hard-to-distinguish, oversize mounting plate.  I can make a minimal mounting brace like Ryca's for much less than the $40 they want.

I'm interested in this as well. I want to strip off that stupid flashing tail light, the turnsignals and the chrome bars on the rear fender. I wonder if the cateye taillight would look alright mounted under the fender with the license plate. Get all the old holes filled in and fender repainted too.

You can use the original bracket. Most aftermarket lights have the same mounting bolt spacing, which fits right where the mlicense plate light bolts in.You'll have to space the whole bracket down about 1/2 inch.
