Must be kinda noisy. You're going to sterilize yourself and go blind until you quiet it down some. It'll also be slower until you get a baffle in it and rejet the carb. Would you do me a favor and ask Bill67 why a 250 needs different oil than a 650? Thanks. |

Title: Re: Do i need to adjust the Carb if Post by bill67 on 08/12/11 at 13:24:28 To start drop the fuel bowl the the jets are up in the carb,I would go up 1 #on low speed and 3# on hight speed,And see how it runs. Then you might have to take of top of carb and put in smaller jet needle spacer or no spacer. |
Title: Re: Do i need to adjust the Carb if Post by arteacher on 08/12/11 at 16:46:35 I think 3 sizes is not enough. I would do 4 sizes unless you live at nose-bleed altitudes And you probably will never get it tuned real well until you put some kind of baffle in the pipe. |
