I was wondering if a seat from a s40 would fit on a 1998 Savage? Thanks in advance for your time. Rich :)

I suppose you're talking about a 1 piece seat going in place of a 2 piece seat.

Yes they will, but there are some changes.
The '98 has a loop at the back that you might need to bend down.
the 1 piece seat mounts at the rear with a single bolt. You need to drill a hole to match.
