I started this afternoon at 1300 and with the help of a friend and lots of info from this site my bike is purring free and loud. We did all these modifications and even had time for supper. The bike is really running strong. Thank you everyone on this site.

Congrats on a job well done.  Did you have any issues with leaks on your muffler, I am planning a dyna swap as well?  Some on this site say its a piece of cake, others have to have it welded b/c of leaks.

It leaks a little; however I believe it could be solved with High temp silicone sealant.

Thanks for the info. I have heard pos and neg about the sealant too. I will try it without first and see what I get. Serobot has a good how to on it in the tech section and has repeated his success so I will go that route.  Best of luck.

I found that the little leaks grew into big leaks. High Temp sealant didn't help. I finally welded it and quit thinking about it.

SoE, did you take the pipe and muffler to a shop to weld it? I was concerned of having it welded and then not line up correctly with the cylinder head and bracket. Can you tell me how you had it done?

Thanks.
