So, Im wondering about modifying my seat by putting one from a new bike on my '87

It says its a sportster seat. I like the lip up in the front that helps you stay back and give you more room. Im 5'11 and thats my only complaint about the bike.

However, if the sportster seat can go on my '87 savage, ill be happy with that I guess. Anyone have an idea?

no dif between a '87 and a '96 that went on.

But that's a late model 1 pc seat. It also will fit with some mod's.

excellent, now all I have to do is find the best seat thats available. Thanks, this forum is my new home. :)
