Title: Clutch action Post by Arizuno on 07/27/11 at 18:00:33 OK, this is so profoundly newbie I'm reluctant to bring it up, but: My S40 definitely rolls around the garage more easily in neutral than it does in gear with the clutch disengaged. Also, putting it in gear generates a very mild, but noticeable, "surge". That said, it does NOT show any inclination to move until the clutch lever is released a reasonable amount. Is this normal? Did I phrase my question clearly enough that you know WTH I'm talking about? |
Title: Re: Clutch action Post by verslagen1 on 07/27/11 at 18:26:38 yep, harder to push in gear mild tug while in gear and running. make sure you adjust the clutch lever with a bit of a gap in the lever so ;you know for sure the clutch is out. |

Title: Re: Clutch action Post by Arizuno on 07/27/11 at 18:43:27 Thanks, gentlemen. Clutch action feels OK when riding, so I guess everything is as it should be. God, I love this forum! |
