Title: Does the Decomp Solenoid..... Post by Smokestack on 07/12/11 at 16:08:59 Need to be isolated? I've been chasing down an electrical gremlin for the past bit, and was wondering if the solenoid needed to be insulated or isolated. I'd thought the rubber mounting ring on the OEM setup was just to keep it from rattling around, but I could be wrong.... Thoughts? |

Yeah, that's kinda what I thought. Right now it's stuffed in an aluminum tank, so I was thinking that maybe the exposed brass on the solenoid coming into contact with the aluminum on the tank might be a problem. Bit of a stretch, I know, but I figured I'd ask. |
