5. Vintage = "Don't count on this thing to start on a cold morning"
6. Could use a tune-up = "Learn to use the rear brake because your right hand will be occupied with the throttle"
7. Good compression = "Carbs and/or ignition are irreparably messed-up"
8. Will provide bill of sale = "Have fun at the DMV, sucker"
9. Selling to buy a bigger bike = "I can buy a bigger bike for what it would cost to fix this one"

I'm actually amazed at how many folks try to sell their bikes w/o titles...from what I hear I don't want to go there at all!!!

Yep... it can be a nightmare... a co-worker of mine bought one w/o a title. After seeing all the hoops he had to jump through to get it licensed, I would never buy one (or car, truck, boat, trailer, etc.) without a title. :)
