Would anyone know the gear ratio of the stock speedometer?
I am getting ready for a project that would replace the stock tank/speedo with a "peanut" tank and separate gauge. I noticed some of the aftermarket meters state different ratios.
Never thought about that till now! ::)

I'd like to bump this question. I am in the same situation. They come in either 1:1 or 2:1 ...saw one that was 2240:60 wtf

99% positive it's 2:1.Most Metric bikes are this.OLD HD's run 1:1 and something(bagger) in the HD family runs the 2240:60

Like this right?
