Rides awesome, very smooth, no motor vibrations at all really. Moved pretty quick too. Just gotta get used to the gearing, it's made to rev, haha.

Congratulations! John Bloor, the guy who bought the Triumph name and is responsible for the new generation Triumphs is a quality freak. When Triumph designs a new engine they are test run on the bench for 200,000 miles, then they are torn down and examined for wear. John will settle for nothing but the best. With regular maintenance your Triumph will last you a lifetime. Triumphs come from the factory with Mobil One synthetic oil in them. Thats the oil the engines are designed to run. Once again congratulations on a great bike!

Yeah, I was surprised to see that the service interval is 6k miles or every year. Except of course for the first service.......500 miles

That's a doll! I didn't know that they kept the retro look on the new Trumps.  I love it!  Thanks for posting.  :)

Beautiful... I WILL own a Triumph one day!  Last month I went to the Barber Motorsports Museum and they had a 1969 Bonnie and a 2009 side by side, both white and orange.  You couldn't tell the difference between the classic and the modern if you didn't know what to look for.

Beautiful machine.  Most definitely!  Personally, I don't care for the seat, but otherwise, absolutely gorgeous!

So tell us.... how was the first ride?  Cheeks hurting from the grinning?

First ride was great, as were the second and third and fourth, haha. It is so smooth, I love it. Probably not gonna get to ride today though, looks like it'll be raining by the time I leave work.

How much does the triumph cost.Whats the dealer get for them. How wide is the seat.

Well it didn't rain, got to ride about an hour. I do have one gripe, the engine dumps a lot of heat on my legs, but I'm sure I'll adjust. Msrp is 7699, don't know dealer cost, seat is rather wide, maybe 12-13 inches, but that's just a guess.

Looks great!  Enjoy it to the max!
That looks a lot like the shop loaner from my dealer, only the dealer's has a white tank and racing style clutch and brake levers.

Mine is pre-fuel injection and a bit more subdued:

Here it is just outside of Leadville Colorado last summer:

Here it is inside of Leadville, in front of the restored historic synagogue:

http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e204/drharveys/Colorado%20Vacation%20Summer%202010/CO033.jpg

Equal time department -- the historic church across the street from the historic synagogue.  It would look better with a motorcycle in front, but I didn't feel like moving the bike at that elevation:

Oh, and here it is with me, on the paved road to Leadville:

It's just a very sensible bike.Well proportioned, ample power, nimble handling and  good to go right from the factory. It's on my list of future runners...
