nothing like a marine in dress blues
welcomed home a nephew from afghanistan at the airport
good turn out our local pgr didnt make it but the vfw color guard and the blue star mothers did and a good local turn out..

just leave and we're havin a wedding ceremony..
him and his wife had a civil ceremony right b4 he enlisted this ones' for the familes

Well congrats on upcomming nuptials..and thank him for his service and thank her for her sacrifice...having a spouse in a war zone is not easy.

Say "Thank you" to your Marine for me. And I urge anyone to go to a National Cemetery where the graves have the small flags on them. Since we don't have hostilities on our shores we forget sometimes. Even the Civil War Cemetery at Shiloh, Tn moves me, and there are some latter day soldiers buried there, also. About 45 miles from me. Happy Fourth of July. Boofer

My thanks to your nephew for his service.. and my wishes for a safe return to his bride and family.

I ride with the PGR.  One of the few places where you hear "I hope I don't see you again very soon", as most of the missions are Recovery and Funeral.
