Title: Differences between '07 S40 and '09? Post by dekuji63 on 06/25/11 at 18:54:32 I've been trying to find manuals for my bike that I can buy and it seems like there's a whole lot of manuals that go up to 2007 but very few that cover 2009. And the 2007 ones are usually a whole lot cheaper besides. Would it be fine to just get the '07 versions? Or were there major differences between the 2 years that would make me mess things up badly by following older directions? Thanks! |

Title: Re: Differences between '07 S40 and '09? Post by dekuji63 on 06/25/11 at 20:08:47 Thanks! I had read/heard that they've been pretty much unchanged forever but my inner neurotic needs to be sure since I'll probably break something otherwise. ;D |
Title: Re: Differences between '07 S40 and '09? Post by RC on 06/25/11 at 20:54:17 I have an 09 and the factory service manual for it, this book covers all years and has a little section in the back for each year there is no differance between an 07 and our 09s. |
Title: Re: Differences between '07 S40 and '09? Post by dekuji63 on 06/26/11 at 05:06:29 Nice to meet a fellow '09-er :D Thanks for the additional confirmation. It always sort of LOOKS like everything is the same but I'm far too suspicious for my own good sometimes. |
