Title: Pegs fell apart...again.

Okay, enough f'n around with them. I've replaced the pegs rubbers 3 times with Emgo sourced Honda, BSA and Triumph rubbers over the stock cores.

Which bicycle pegs/pedals fit? Specifically, will the 1950s Firestone or 1930s Henderson pedals I have work or not?

Need something while I build a set of floor boards off the stock peg cores. Tired of messing with cheap chi-com crap replacement parts.

Ugly and uncomfortable. I wear a 13 or 14 EEE. Stock pegs are a mite small.

Remember, I'm still trying to decide where to cut and stretch the frame backbone and downtube. Want to run a bigger tank and get a bit more arm room.

If you can stretch a frame and fab floorboards, you ought to be able to make up some footpegs -- especially something temporary.

I have a set of floor boards that came on my bike that I'm not using anymore, they are in good shape. If you want them you can have them, Might be a cheap way to experiment....10 bucks or so for shippin

Highway Hawk that look like chromed grilled pork chops? Or something else? Either way, I'm interested. Friday is payday, PM me the info.

I plan to make a set with either draft horse shoes or welded chain. Or horse shoes with welded chain centers... Just need something on there in the mean time.

Problem with the frame backbone is that it is square tubing. The 4.75 gallon replacement tank has a round tunnel. Not insurmountable, may be as simple as a top rail cover and no stretch needed.

Pokey has been a forum test mule since the first week I had her. Stock was cute, I don't do cute.

1950s style. Sold. I'll take 'em.

That way I can still have the bike usable while I'm designing my one offs.

Lisa has a PayPal account or we can handle it however. PM me the particulars.

Thanks.
