Title: carb question
Post by firstsavage41 on 06/18/11 at 10:08:34

Hello Everyone,

Great site, Great people, first post...

Have a 95 Savage 14K with a sportster exhaust installed by me (replaced oem). Bike runs awesome, no backfire issues. Have not torn into the carb yet, assuming it's stock jets, but really dont know. My question is.. If it is stock, and it seems to run through all ranges well, do I need to worry about possiblle engine damage,or can I just leave it alone?

Thanks for the help...Love this bike.

If it runs good,.. you are probably fine...
If you ever go to a free-flo air filter,.. you probably should rejet...

What's your elevation?..

One thing for sure, this isn't a boring forum..All kinds of entertainment, and seems like a tight knit group...That's why I decided to participate. Some of the other internet groups seemed a bit too (what can I say) snobbish..(tryin to keep it clean).. ;)  thanks
