Title: Excessive oil harmful? Post by Philip on 06/10/11 at 10:18:43 Just bought a 2006 S40 and changed my oil a few weeks ago, I completely drained it and replaced the filter and put 2.5 GTs back in per the specs but the oil window is completely covered when I level the bike up. When its leaning against the stand and on level ground, there is no oil in the window. Should I try to drain the oil and fill it back up with new until its between the hash marks? Am I going to damage my motor if I over filled it? Thanks for the input, Philip |
