Title: HD Muffler slip ons
Post by jdeluca on 06/09/11 at 07:30:08

Found these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230631060959) on fleabay, they look like the pre-'04 sportster ones as shown in Serowbot's thread http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1298689417...If I'm missing something, can someone point me in a better direction?

Thanks!

They are tab mount, (not as good as rail, but will work)...
... but that golden tint is a dead giveaway, that they are pretty used...

Worth the $10.50,... but if bidding gets to over $20 or $25,... I'd look for newer, shinier chrome...

Road King?  Those could be bigger than they look.  Send the guy a message and ask for the HD part number, then you can google it for more specifics.

It's a rail mount,.. that's good...
Don't know what the seller means by,... Make Harley, Brand Victory?...
If you like the slash-cut style, I'd try it...

Ooooh, I like the slash cut.  If you get it, be sure to let us know how it works out.

Hey, that looks like a pretty good deal.  I recently paid just under $90 for mine (like new), but it wasn't the slash cut.  I see that it even comes with the proper clamp (mine didn't).  I'd ask the seller if the baffle is intact.  If it has been drilled, then you will have to modify your feul, air, and spark as well.
