Hi can some one tell me what size the primairy gear nut is.Looks like a 28mm to me.

either 30 or 32mm

it's listed somewhere... search.

Don't know the answer, but I bought two calipers from a "pile-'o-tools" table in a hardware store. $2 for small and large. Not close enough for heart surgery, but saves a lot of guessing and yes, they are plastic. :)

If you're talking about the nut on the front gear on the clutch side of the engine, it's 30mm.
