When parting out a bike, what piece does the title go with? Frame? Engine?

Id say title goes with whatever part has th VIN,,& thats th frame.

In my state the title stays with the frame. If you don't have a title for the frame you can get one by hauling the frame or bike to a Highway Patrol office. Can't ride it there!!! They will check to see if it is clear and if so will make a document to that effect (could take a few weeks). You take the document to the title office along with a decent looking bill of sale and they make up a new title for you.
