I've inheritted a 1988 LS650 Savage and i am missing one peice. I need the seat plate for the front seat but cannot order one through my bike dealership as its no longer available. Any ideas where i can get one? should i just have one fabricated? thanx

if by plate you mean the front hook where the sit tab inserts then it is available at bikebandit.com for $2.16. Part #1084332

It could be fabricated from a flat strap of steel purchased at a hardware store, or you can go back to "Home" and click "Marketplace". Put "Need tank bracket" and someone here will have one. Good luck.
