Title: Tail lamps and the Law Post by papi_ocho on 05/09/11 at 13:40:26 I used to have the trailer box mod on my tail light and turn signals a while back. Now I'm looking to change it up. I'm specifically looking for the legal aspect of the following. I want to run turn signals only, no designated tail light. Much how a utility trailer has only 2 lights that perform double duty. Is it legal(california)? |

I did not read through it myself but it may be of use. Otherwise, the CA Code site should probably provide an answer if no one else here knows. I want to say that you'd be ok but this is CA you're talking about. ;) |

And visibility my :-X I was tboned on my 500 wearing the Marine Corps required reflective vest. I rather go down wearing all my gear and looking cute while doing it. staying alert and vigilant. Has anyone seen the video Guy on a sport bike stoped behind a van at a red light wearing a helmet cam? He was rear ended by a lady on her phone. he even landed on his feet after the crash.. taller bike and rider combo then US BRIGHTER dressed than most of us I would say And tail light and signals easy 10-14 higher than our. You really think a 2in x 3in red box is gonna change much? Dummy lights were created for safety.. Bah-humbug. Thoses suckers can't defeat blind deaf and dumb. |
