Title: Rear shock

Hi guys, can somebody give me a tip about my rear creaky shocks,
what should I do to change THEM or...?
I have a Savage o2.

I put a pair off a Sportster on the back of mine .   It raised the rear about an inch (I'm 5'10") , now it fits a little better.   Raising the rear took a little of the rake out of the front and effectly raised the front too.

I still have the originals in the barn ,  if ya want you can have them for $10.oo plus shipping  ----  say $20.oo total .

Got the longer ones off ebay.  Savage shocks 10.5 inch. eye to eye.

Lancer had some 11.5 inch shocks on his bike and I loved the way it handled so I got some for mine ,  changed the whole geometry and it sits a little taller too.

If something still works and squeaks, I spray it with lubricant and go till it quits. I'm cheap, but I think that is a virtue on this forum.  :)

Thanx guys, first I'll follow Boofer's advice but I'm not forgetting MMRanch's offer.
I'll keep you posted.
